About the Jewelry Designer: Frédéric Mané
Frédéric Mané is a French high-end jewelry and luxury goods designer with over 20 years of experience. After graduating from Haute École de Joaillerie, Frédéric Mané worked at Mathon Paris for six years, where he served as the chief designer. In addition, Frédéric Mané has his own design studio in Paris and collaborates with international jewelry brands such as Rubeus Milano. Due to his outstanding achievements in jewelry design, Frédéric Mané’s works and design stories are often published in various internationally renowned magazines such as the New York Times, Vogue, Elle, Forbes, Marie Claire, and more.
Since 2017, Frédéric Mané has had close contact and collaboration with Darry Ring, but what impressed him the most is still our brand’s concept of “One True Love In A Lifetime”. He believes that Darry Ring represents not only a material diamond ring but also a spiritual elevation, which inspired him in designing a diamond engagement ring with a heart theme.
About the Designer Engagement Ring
Frédéric Mané believes that the heart shape is a universal and common symbol of love, while diamonds represent eternal commitment. Therefore, this designer engagement ring is full of heart-shaped elements. Frédéric Mané has designed four heart-shaped motifs around the central diamond, with many small diamonds set within them, symbolizing eternal protection and perfect love. The gold DR seal, representing the Love Mark Collection, is placed in the middle of the heart-shaped patterns on the front and back sides, complementing the surrounding small diamonds.
“This diamond engagement ring, full of heart-shaped elements, represents my creativity and design for love,” said Frédéric Mané in an interview with us. “In addition to the heart-shaped patterns on the front and back sides, there is a heart shape entwining the ring band on each side, symbolizing eternal and beautiful love.”
Frédéric Mané told us that he was extremely excited when designing this diamond engagement ring because the brand concept of Darry Ring immediately reminded him of a couple strolling on the Pont des Arts with “love locks” beside them. The love locks on the bridges are as beautiful and rare in this era as the DR diamond rings that can only be given to one person in a lifetime.
Frédéric Mané combines Paris, eternal love, heart shapes, and diamonds together, and hopes that every couple wearing this designer engagement ring can feel the commitment on a spiritual level.
About the Jewelry Designer: Amandine Boucher
Amandine Boucher is a high-end jewelry designer who excels at breaking traditional boundaries to create classic yet innovative jewelry pieces. After graduating, she continued her jewelry design dreams at the Lorenz Baümer Joailler located in Place Vendôme, Paris. With her keen insight into jewelry fashion, Amandine Boucher has created many stunning pieces for brands such as Chanel, Boucheron, Martin Katz, Bijoux Burma, and other jewelry brands from around the world.
About the Designer Engagement Ring
Considering that almost all international brands have launched their own logo series products, whether in jewelry or other fashion categories, Amandine Boucher believed that Darry Ring certainly needed to create its own logo series products as well. In this context, the designer engagement ring engraved with the DR (short for the Darry Ring) has finally been unveiled.
“When combining the DR logo with a diamond engagement ring, there are some challenges,” said Amandine Boucher in an interview with us. “The DR logo has many angles, so I needed to consider both the integrity of the logo and the comfort of wearing it, while also maintaining artistic beauty. It was not an easy task.”
Amandine Boucher designed four styles for this designer engagement ring, but we quickly decided on the final version, which features a carved DR logo on each side of the ring shank near the center diamond. The DR logo is clearly visible from both the front and back of the ring, exuding uniqueness and ultimate artistic beauty. To give the DR logo a more three-dimensional effect, Amandine Boucher embedded small diamonds in channel settings on the ring band. The soft curves and undulating lines of the DR logo allow each diamond to emit maximum brightness and sparkle in the light, perfectly enhancing the center stone.
When Amandine Boucher first heard the brand concept of Darry Ring, “One True Love In A Lifetime”, she was deeply impressed. She believes it is a very bold rule, as Darry Ring interprets love to the fullest and equates itself with love. “Everyone deserves to have a diamond engagement ring engraved with the DR logo,” says Amandine Boucher.
